i faced a huge dilemma: What's better? eek
i think that they shoudn't be separated, manga makes anime completed and anime makes manga alive eyes
something like that

I think manga is better, the feelings of the characters are better shown.
anime is nice for action-y shows, but voice acting just ruins what i imagine the moment to be like.

Manga is better most of the time since in anime, some parts are cut or skipped and ruins the whole thing. Ichigo 100 is a good example of an excellent manga turned into a rubbish anime.

i used to think that animes were better couse i hated reading, but now that i've actully started reading alot more, i think that manga is couse it deffinitly shows more of a person character(in most cases), plus, yea, the voices kinda ruin the whole thing for me.

Anime counterparts are great compliments to their manga parts. If done brilliantly the anime can outshine the manga in atmosphere and tension, but will usually lack the detail of character development. Manga can be visually more gripping than the anime but because of the lack of total sound used to heighten scenes like you do in films, tv, etc, it feels a bit empty to me in that department. If a manga had some sort of musical playlist playing as each page is viewed, I think that'd heighten the enjoyment a lot more.

anime holds greater potential as a medium, and in an perfect world it should always be 'better'. for that to happen, considering that the manga was released first, it would need to have top-notch animation, fitting music/voice actors/sound effects, follow the storyline 100% and have no fillers. this however is rarely the case, thanks to.. the industry functioning the way it does. companies most often go for the path with best effort/income ratio, and unfortunately 'best' in this case being, minimal effort.

'monster' comes to mind, a near flawless transition from manga to anime!

I think that anime can sometimes be better, due to the fact that there are a lot of manga that have pretty bad art, but when they transition it into an anime the art is a TON better. Like, for example, Ouran Koukou Host Club and Princess Princess. Don't get me wrong I absolutely LOVE the manga, but I liked the art better in the anime. And the voice acting was spot on. Flawless performances in my opinion. But, like previously stated, sometimes it just doesn't work. Like the Ultra Maniac anime. I was VERY disappointed. sad
