I really hope its not and besides the fight with deidara lasted way longer than this and Itachi was stronger than Deidara. And sasuke put alot into beating Deidara and to believe he beat itachi just like that it seems to fake to be real

I think Kishi himself said in a not too old interview that he wanted this fight to last. Basically this fight will be longer.

Just because he said it in an interview doesn't make it true. And maybe Itachi's letting himself get stabbed because he's using someone else's body again.

Nooo Itachi cab't die! He has the 3 skills of sharingan that even sasuke doesn't have, The Amaterasu, Tsukiyomi and the unveiled third one. How can he lose without using those?

Yeah but if he did have it he would have used it on Deidara rather than winning barely just using normal sharingan IMO.

But knowing Sasuke, he would never want the Mangekyou Sharingan... He wants to find power in his own way, and not the way that Itachi(the one he hates with all his heart) has suggested...

but what if he figured it out on his own and considers it his own, personally developed, technique? He had no reason to use it against Deidara IMO he was winning that fight hands down until Deidara self-destructed. Also, holding on to that kind of skill to use against Itachi is just what Sasuke would do. The only person that might be worthy, in his eyes, would be Naruto.
