Kinda glad hes going through the whole approach of taking over Hueco mundo to take out Soul Society after so much of Bleach was about Hueco mundo and arrancars good to see that it winds up tying together with how everything is going to end

It's called killing off a completely irrelevant character to pretend that the main character is actually threatened.
