to me a good series dont need any ecchi at all

question
is american comics "ecchi"?
i know american comics dont sell all that much anymore[even in america] but is anyone talking about the "sex" in american comics even in america anymore?

i mean
mr marvel, susan storm, emma frost, power girl, super girl, wonder woman ASO all wear vulgar outfits that dont even try to cover up most of their vulgar bodies
they basically look like porn stars in bodytight suits

the western worlds problem with "ecchi" manga was and still is funny
i dont really see how anyone can say negima/love hina is "harmful for children" when power girl whose only reason to exist is to look like something your 10year old boy wants to fuckityfuckfuck/make your 10yo boy to buy the comic...is ok

Most people here don't live in the STATES, (as in, maybe they live in some other country of AMERICA) so that's a pretty bad analogy since they might have never read a USA comic.

I, as an example, had only ever read really old USA comics (like the first 200 Amazing Spider-man, Batman year one, Sin City, that have sex but not with such a child like perspective such as in ecchi Manga, and a few Dark Horse comics that were absolutely not sex themed and have nothing like a "sexy" woman in them at all.

As a side note: The United States comic industry is terrible, sorry if anyone here is a fan, but i really hate it.

Edit: i'm sorry Caozhi sad , i just don't like the term Americans when used to talk about people from the states -.-.

Really? Let's not dive into a discussion of things so intensely off topic, yes? We're here to talk about the poll, not whether a girl is a slut or if we live in the United States.

Is the question posed: "How much ecchi does a good ecchi series need?" Or does it round up all good series in general? Then you have to put into perspective personal taste and such. For me a series doesn't require ecchi to be respected. If I read a series knowing it's ecchi then I expect there to be some. There's a limit to how much ecchi one can take without reaching the point of being blinded by ass, pantsu, and boobs. Make it fun, make it funny, but if you're going to shove all that in my face might as well go read some porn.

You could just use U.S. citizens.

I pretty much hate seeing ecchi in a manga, its really pointless. Whenever its shown it doesn't progress the story and is just there just to get more people reading it. Sometimes it just isn't funny as well. no A series can be awesome without having any ecchi what so ever.
It's kinda annoying now that new series have to resort to putting ecchi in it when most of them are really good without it just to get more people reading it.

Kind of a dumb poll.

It's like putting "how much martial arts does a series need to be good?" None obviously; a series can be good without ecchi/martial arts/whatever-other-minor-genre. We'd probably end up with 99-100% of voters in option C if everyone actually read the question and thought about what it meant.

But since the question seems too obvious to bother asking, a good number of people (but NOT all people) interpret it as "how much do you like X (ecchi in this case)."

The respondents are replying to two different questions, and the results are meaningless.
