This ending was brought to you in honor of the ending of Mass Effect 3

Quote from StaticHD End means, "end of the arc." When they make this into a volume, that will be the conclusion chapter to that volume.
The author wouldn't end the story without showing glimpses of Clare meeting Raki... What would be the point in showing Raki if it were going to end. This is NOT THE END. If it ... Usually when a chapter ends it comes with to be continued or nothing at all, and yes he could end the story without Clare meeting Raki, just your assumption that he wouldnt, cant really comment on the jump part since i know barely anything how they do their job, and neither do u, dont know much about ANN so ima refrain about saying anything but the part about mangastream, why would they know anything about it? They havent even done the chapter, and no we wouldnt have, endings come abrupt sometimes, and that thing about Claymore teaching is just beyond silly so ima refrain to go further into this. What ive learned from your post that you really need to get more information/knowledge on how things work before you make assumptions out of nowhere.

Uh oh. I just checked the raw version and it does say "CLAYMORE ---- おわり". I thought it might have been some kind of error with the group but this does lend credit to the theory that either this "arc" is over and new series is starting or just an end to the series.

Yea, both are highly likely, or maybe that arc is over and a new one is starting instead of series.

The most realistic possibility is, indeed, that the story is not over but will undergo a name change. I just hope it doesn't take too long.

I always figured it would end with Whats his name and Clare reuniting and finding love or something like that. That's one thing I hate about manga, if it's popular and making money, it goes into all sorts of crazy plots just so they can drag out it and milk it for every yen. If a manga stops making money, it just ends out of nowhere.
Claymore use to have a lot of drama and a good story, but the last couple of years it changed and became just a big long nonstop fight like bleach and the other one.

There is some speculation that this is due to a new law and arguments over rights with Yagi. Other authors are in the same situation. You can read this blog: http://astronerdboy.blogspot.com/2012/03/new-proposed-japane se-law-reason-ken.html There are minor spoilers for the ending to Negima, so yeah.

I really hope that the "the end" thing just indicates that the huge "topple the organization" arc is over. The manga just cannot end like this. We don't even know what happened to the main protagonist yet.

Ya come authors are not renewing their contracts because of the law stuff. Authors don't want publishers to have control of their work's copyrights. For example - publishers selling, remaking, suing others, etc. for the authors work WITHOUT needing the author's permission. Of course this gets sticky when the author gives permission for others to use his work, goes to a different publisher/company, etc. So some mangas are ending abruptly (perhaps Claymore too) because the author's don't want to renew their contracts as such.

Jump SQ will be switching to bi-monthly too, which may lead the author to switch magazines as well. I hope that wasn't the end of the story, but a pause while the author gets the next arc/season ready. This is one of the few good series left out there.

This.
Like in the Breaker or Rosario Vampire. We reach an especial point and we change the title for whatever the reason... since claymore is really popular an axed ending is really, reaaally, unlikely...
Let's try and guess the new name... I'm going for "Whatever the new continent is named like"...
i'm not sure since it seem like Phantom is going to cover the true, but i won' be surprised if the story picks up with some of our protagonist reaching the Main Land.
Edit:

REALLY? it was hard enough to wait one month...
If that's true then the "End" might actually bring something good, like a bi-"weakly" publication (would't that be awesome?)
edit:

ok, if it's actually like this..
...well, you now.. fu@@, if that's the case, even tough i respect Yagi a lot and don't think it would be a wrong decision, i hope he decide to try and finish it even it just as web comic :/

Ok, I really hope this isn't really the end. Claymore can't just end with such a... f****ing crap of an end e_e Man, things were just getting exciting, the truth was coming up, Claire was still with Priscilla locked up on that... thing = P
Well, I'm guessing (and hoping) this is just a break and change of series. Now that the organization has ended, there's no "Claymore" anymore, just a bunch of girls with super powers... I hope it goes as BlackOrion said and they just get to go to the Main Land after a while... What Rimuto said about the war over there being not easy too makes this look possible... Anyway, I hope Yagi don't screw up = P
(Sorry for the bad english ^_^')

Yea, I saw that too and was like, wtf?
I'm guessing it ended with a future "part 2" coming out.
Because if this is the ending, then it's just fail all around.
