I've been a rabid fan since I was about 8 years old, and well, seeing how I'm still dependent on my parents (and they didn't really start to accept my passion for anime/manga until some months ago) I haven't been able to attend a convention yet. BUT NOW I AM ^////^ And I really want to stand out. I first thought to cosplay, but I don't really have the budget for that and all my favorite characters are a bit difficult to pull off. So I was thinking of wearing my Invader Zim footsie pajamas that look like this. I've seen worse, someone came as the guy from Catherine, complete with wearing only his boxers, holding a pillow and goat ears, or try the BRONIES, guys who dress up as my little pony characters. If you're a girl and your wearing pajamas, you'll be one of the most popular people there. And to creep it up a bit, you started when you were 8? how old are you now? Are you hot? But in all seriousness, wear your pajamas, go with some friends (for safety), and have fun. Feel free to talk to people, my last experience at an anime convention was fantastic because when you go to a convention where everyone loves the same things, you can relate with everyone just so quickly. That same shy, introverted, nerd that sits indoors all day watching anime, takes this one opportunity to go out and talk his heart out about his passion towards this form of entertainment. Now multiply that by thousands, and you just have one huge party of people that get along, laugh, and have fun.

I'll be going with 3 of my best female friends, but they'll be cosplaying, so it'd ruin the spirit if I just go with jeans and a tee. Pajamas it is! ;D Plus, I'll be comfy and hug-worthy. I started watching anime when I was 8 (Inuyasha being my first ever anime >_< ) and I've loved it ever since. I'm 16 now, almost 17 in a couple months. As for me being hot, I consider myself pretty damn attractive. Of course, that's all subjective to whose judging, but in my opinion, I'm awesome~ I'm really looking forward to the convention, especially its activities, and the opportunity to take a bunch of pictures with random strangers who love the same characters. I'm naturally really outgoing, but when it comes to anime there arn't many people who share the same interest, so to be able to fangirl with so many people would just be awesome ________________ I enjoy receiving random messages and getting to know new people so don't be shy!(: Also, if you have any good Romance mangas you'd like to recommend.... ;DD I'll always be here~

Member 1:27 am, Jul 25 2012 Posts: 21	I agree with Vudoodude that your PJ’s are fine for the convention. Plus depending on what your friends wear you might be the most comfortable one in your group. Depending on where the convention is & how long, just make sure you have an idea on what the weather will be like. If it’s hot outside it may just be as hot (maybe even hotter) inside depending on how many ppl are there. So on that note again YES on PJ’s but may want to bring and extra outfit just in case.

I'll definitely bring along a t-shirt+jeans just in case it gets unbearable.
