music concert in Japan---Asia in general too

The Coolest Member 11:05 pm, Aug 5 2012 Posts: 890	I have a quick question---regarding music concerts, you idol concerts and autograph sessions. what I'm wondering is I read many mangas where in the concerts or autograph sessions of female idols, it is mostly, if not 100% male attended---so basically I'm wondering is it like that for real in Japan?? Crazy Cat Lady Member 11:44 pm, Aug 5 2012 Posts: 1763	The impression I get - as someone in the US who is interested in Japanese music, with no claim of being an expert in any way - is that the "idols" mostly appeal to the opposite gender and even if they have some same-gender fans, those fans might hesitate to do something like attend a concert.
