[m] so i read and awesome manga about a year ago, and i've forgotten the name & author . It was a story about a girl who's been working on her appearance and personality since middle school, and becomes one of the 'popular' girls in highschool, and has a love interest in one of her new guy friends. If anybody has any idea what manga it is, please post!! also, on of the genres is probably shoujo. Thank you!!!

There are a lot of shoujo mangas dealing with female leads that change appearance in order to gain popularity. So it would help if you had some more info.
