I have no idea what I'm supposed to say, so I'll go straight to the point. You can probably guess as to what my name is, assuming you can read English. I'm a native Korean/English speaker, and I've been looking for something to do as a hobby, since it's too cold for badminton now  I don't like the idea of joining a group, so I guess that makes me a freelance translator. I only translate series that have good, modern art, and if it's a novel, it must have romance. I generally tend to like shoujo since they're more focused on romance, but shounen romance lures me in faster, since shoujo tends to get cliche. I can translate a 20-30 page chapter in 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the difficulty of the Korean. I tend to slow down a lot if there's a lot of slang.
I translate Japanese as well, but not as proficiently as Korean. For Japanese, I will only translate less than 25 page chapters with furigana. I will not join any groups and I have the right to refuse a series. I get bored when I'm translating Japanese, so make sure you actually have something worth reading before asking me to translate it. If it sucks, I probably won't bother reading through it. You may ask me to translate as many series as you want once I get acquainted with you, but for now, I'll try to keep things easy for me. I don't like working with people who are too serious, but I don't like people who don't take things seriously enough either.
I suck at editing, so if anyone is willing to help out with series that I find myself (not that I have any now), it'd be nice if you could help me out too

Check Bento Scans out. We had a korean translator but for now they are on hiatus. If anything we can easily find some korean mangas which suit your taste (since usually only look for japanese mangas since we mainly do japanese [and 1 thai]).

I've taken a year of Japanese in freshman year, and everything else has been self study so far. Anyways, it's a free service, so it's your choice/loss, not mine. I don't like most manhwa cuz the art usually sucks ass, but if you really need help, I'd be glad to translate a few chapters for you ^^

hello guitarista. ^_^ I'm from Phoenix Serenade Scans. We scanlate shoujo manga. We would love it if you helped us translate from Japanese to English. Usually, one chapter is our projects is 33 pages long. But if its longer, you can take your time to translate. And ALL of our manga have furigana.
