With the release of chapter 38 of season 2 we are slowly getting closer to reconnecting with Baam's friends from the first season, will they recognize him, hair mask and all?

We know Rachel is looking for the real night sky, but it strikes me that that Baam's name means 25th Night. Did she name him?

Frankly, we know next to nothing of Baam's origins. We know he was in a large cavern possibly underground. That he wasn't supposed to leave said cavern, but Rachel could, this would indicate that Baam was special even among Irregulars in some way.

I actually have to wonder if Baam is the actual son of Zahard. The "prince" might be misdirection on the author's part and Baam might be the true hidden prince.

I think the reason his name is Baam (25th Night) was explained already that he was given that name because he was born on the 25th Night. Forgot what chapter that was. He was explaining it to Koon I think

I will have to reread to see if this was mentioned at some point, but then again this still doesn't answer who named him.

It's certainly an interesting theory you have there. And one that is possible.

But on the other note - it's kind of pointless to speculate for this type of work.
The world in this is absolutely massive. The manga is very original in terms of plotline and the author seems to be very good/smart and seems to have good understanding of where he wants to take this. So really any speculation is just throwing darts in the dark. Wait and see and I am sure we will all be pleased.

Considering that the author gave hints on the other worlds outside the tower, I wouldn't be surprised if Rachel and Baam belongs to different worlds. Baam might be the only survival of his world. But regarding the fact that he couldn't leave his world and Rachel popping in of Baam's world is rather suspicious and gives alot of leads to many questions. The fact that Baam was alone in his world leads to alot of questions about his origin and his world.

In short I agree that it's kinda pointless to guess about TOG since there are so many paths, reasons and mysteries that still hasn't been revealed since SIU made the world so vast and wide that we are right now just seeing the beginning. We still have yet touched on the certain topics (like conflicts between Zahard, FUG, Wing Tree Organization), we're just on the path getting there... And how Koon is going to challenge his father to become the head, we still have a long way to go... I won't be surprised if this webtoon becomes longer than Naruto... or One Piece but sigh.. all that tease and wait..

a possibility that Baam is thrown away or something like a forbidden child of Zahard. All children of Zahard the author introduced were all females so there's a possibility that male child is taboo. If we're thinking of cliche, a male child so called prince can challenge the authority of Zahard. There's also fact that he can used the black weapon that the princess lend him. His origin will not be revealed any time soon. This is webtoon, like for example noblesse the main character identity wasn't revealed till 190 chapters.

Zahard and his daughters aren't blood related . It is more like he add a new power and new weapon(s) to some extremely well selected girls. He made them take parts from his reignship(King's attributions). I think it is a give that that power can be transmitted only to women.
About that black weapon: the spirit associated with the black weapon is a beautiful perverted woman who's looking after good looking guys.It is an useless weapon for women.

Since this has to do with speculations and such, I'm not going to bother making a new thread and contribute.

Regarding chapter 53:
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
I'm surprised Koon didn't realize the FUGS infiltrated. I mean, no one can blame him for not knowing, and there wasn't any major hit, but Koon has always surprised us with his deductions. I feel like he would take good precautions against such betrayal, especially when he's dealing with Rachel himself. Don't get me wrong, I am NOT disappointed in Koon, I'm just glad this wasn't going as I predicted when I thought that I can now predict it LOL

Now I don't know why red haired FUGS girl (don't know and don't care about her name) is telling Koon about Baam being alive. Deep inside I keep hoping hat she'd be the nice one of the FUGS ;^; but she is still the one that got Baam in all this trouble ugggghhh. This is confusing. I think she wants to recruit Koon into FUGS by using Baam... While Rachel doesn't know so he would have to stage his 'death'

Damn. Poor Baam. He wasn't blindly basing after Rachel nor did he want revenge! He said he already had friendship and wanted to continue having it. Stupid FUGS :(

Does the spoiler tag really necessary? This is the speculation threat after all.

Honestly, I'd really hate it if SIU made our hair straightener prince into know-it-all character. About Hwa Ryun, it is said that there's lots of different faction inside FUG, and fortunately for Baam, there's a certain strong person who back him up. Hwa Ryun is also on this faction. However, rather than purely wishing for Baam's happiness, it is more likely that Hwa Ryun also has her own agenda in supporting Baam.

Regarding chapter 56, since Hya Ryun told Koon that no one could know that Baam and Koon still alive, would Koon use disguise? And Ripple Riego's expression when Viole told him to release Koon's teammate's shackles is really suspicious... Maybe we will have another Xia Xia?With the appearance of the new character (the traveler), I really doubt we will actually see the workshop battle in the next 1-2 chapter. Maybe I should invent a time machine and read the-already-completed-TOG after all.
