How does Lilium fit Elfin Lie? Granted, the tone fits in a way, but it's a latin recitation of a bible verse. The lyrics have nothing to do with anything that goes on in the anime.


lyrics don't have to fit i think.

the song generally fits the anime's theme.

though it would be better, if the lyrics were about the anime, too.

Love Ghost in the Shell OST. Yoko Kanno and Ilaria Graziano are amazing songwriters and singers. I love listening to "Where does the Ocean Go".

Agreed.
I also like the Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei openings although its really different compared to Samurai Champloo :') (<3 Nujabes)

Me too! Tsubasa's OST-music especially. It good music to listen when you study, draw or whatever, it has a nice mood.

Anyone heard the Darkstalkers/Night Warriors OVA music? It's amazing. But you can expect no less from Ootani Kou biggrin
My favorite tracks are Murder Pentagram, Night Battle Party, Endless Battle Game and Invitation To the Charm of Darkness.

GunGrave, Zetsuai/Bronze and Macross Plus have great soundtracks as well.

But my favorite anime OP - Reckless Fire from S.CRY.ed
And my favorite ED - Akane Iro ga Moeru Toki
