Sad because I almost melt when there are tears. Gives off a defenseless feeling which is so cute.

This only applies to shojo, but ya gotta love it when the girls have a scared/in pain/embarrassed look on their face. -Thinking of Alice on Deadlines when the girl/boy tries to put on a bra thats too small...-

oh, & now that i think about it, i also love those um, kind of non-feeling, numb expressions? not exactly sad but hopeless, cold expressions...i think Vampire Knight had them quite a lot

BTW, have you read Sekine's Love? The main guy in it has signs of depression and his face is like... resigned emptiness?

Anyways, for the poll, I voted "other" because I like crying (male) faces, but not because of sadness. I'd prefer if it's in pain, anger, jealousy or embarrassment. (But I suppose blushing/embarrassed faces are okay too.)

It's either blushing for me (depending on the character) or those confident "just as keikaku" expressions.

I like blushing, especially tsunderes blushing, but hands down there's nothing cuter than jealousy
