Hello everyone,
I'm korean and I've been living for nearly 15 years in France. I can speak and write french, english, korean fluently and I have some little knowledge in Spanish and Japanese.
However, my korean isn't as good as a native since I've only been there on summer holidays.
Nevertheless, I'm speaking it everyday with my family and friends since I was little so translating some manhwas should not be a problem. I can handle Gimp so if the page is cleaned it should not be a problem to put the words in there.
I'm kind of busy this month but starting from February I'll have some free time coming up.
I like all kind of manhwa, but not too cheesy and overwhelmingly stupid (harems that could never happen in real life and all) nor too gore and violent and psychologic or having bad and quickdrawings ...
If anyone is looking for a translator, then please send me an email or reply to this thread.

Would you be interested in a light novel?
The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor is the name. Its a Virtual Reality MMORPG genre.
Your help even as a quality checker for one of our google translate teams would be helpful. Just basically read the korean line read our line and fix it if its horribly wrong.
this is the community website. Read a chapter or two. The novel is great for people who enjoy sadistic and somewhat evil heroes.

There are many groups scanlating webtoons and manwha, these groups can always use more translators.
Egscans (huge number of korean series, both webtoons and manhwa - I personally am in this group, so I can vouch for the friendly community there.)
Thecmpny (ToG, Dr. Frost, Kubera)
Deathtoll (Dead Sorcerer's City)
Supreme cream scans (The friendly winter, regarding death)
random scanlations (Yongbi)
Odd Squad Scans (Cheese in the Trap, used to do Gepetto)
A-Team (The Breaker, they used to do Ares)
Webtoonlive (many series)
Vendetta Scans (I don't actually know anything about this group so can't really say I recommend, but they do translate a number of webtoons)
As DarkD suggested, if you're into novels, there are other cool communities. Translating novels is much more intensive and if you're slightly anxious about your korean level, might be a bit too much to handle...?
Look around at forums and sites and maybe send some emails to sound out what people say. Good luck wherever you choose to go!
I'd suggest staying away from troll groups like mangapirate and sakicow, since their communities are usually smaller and much less friendly.

Actually because finding korean translators is so difficult, the novel groups have almost no quality control at all. We take what we can get. Leave it in whatever broken english you like. Korean novel groups are desperate. Everyone wants to do japanese stuff, and manga/manwha is easy work.
Assuming you don't wanna work too hard, we have a google drive translation project going where we have people scouring korean to english dictionaries to translate. they go something like raw korean line of text followed by english translated line of text. So just read what we have and tell us if we are way off.

Thank you everyone for your replies ! Since I forgot this threat I'm sorry for replying so late.
I took recently a liking for webtoons, so maybe I'll try going for the Easy Going Scans group.
Thanks for your helping
