I remember reading this manga a long time ago, and I've been trying to find it for a while but no go :c

It's either a oneshot or from a series of oneshot. Genre is romance & definitely shoujo.

It's about a guy and a girl who are childhood friends. There's something in the story about a jar filled with things and how the guy hid something in there (maybe a note). The girl doesn't find it until the end of the story and when she does, she goes after him. It's fuzzy in my head but I'm pretty sure the plot was something like that.

The art was very nicely drawn too. ^.^

Thanks and I'll appreciate any help!! smile smile

Hm, I just read the story. Similar plot, but unfortunately I don't think it's that one. :c Thanks anyway!

Try using this: http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?act=genresearch
You can include the genres you're sure of and exclude the ones that you know are wrong.
You can also display either 'completed only (including oneshots)' or just 'only oneshots', same for manga/manhwa/manhua/etc.
You can also add categories such as 'Childhood friend/s', and any others you think might be correct. Here's a link to the category db: http://www.mangaupdates.com/categories.html

Good luck ^^

I find posts like this fairly patronising, plus when it comes to romance shoujo the search results always come back pretty loaded and it's still hard to find without having to comb through everything that might look like the right one but probably isn't. That's why some people post here, hoping a particular detail they remember sparks someone else's memory.

Plus, op said they've been looking for a while, I think that pretty much excludes the potential that they haven't tried doing searches here.

No offense.

There's not that many results if it's a onehost, even less if you carefully include and exclude some genres.
I tried searching for it myself, but without knowledge of some additional genres (comedy/drama/tragedy) + categories (tags), e.g. 'Male Lead Falling in Love First', it is indeed a challenge.

I understand that the poster said that she had been looking for a while, but considering that she's just registered, she could be fairly new to MU altogether.
And that means she might have not discovered the genre search yet. <== That one's just for your benefit, Reiz0r laugh

Just to add to Gradonil_Ral's post, it might also be worth trying NOT to use the 'Display only show one shots' Filter but instead use the 'Collection of Short Stories / Oneshots' Category tag in your search if you haven't already since it seems like manga with series of oneshots sometimes don't show up if you under the filters.
