Hi,i only watch manga in tv and borrow from friends if they have some. For keeping some and buying them would ne a waste of money because after reading the story you'll hide it in the shelf...

$347.37, all on books. For some reason, I keep VERY close track of it (OCD kicking in?). Actually, probably to make me feel like I'm saving money by buying most of it online. If I had actually bought it all at a bookstore, I'd have spent well over $400 by now.

around 175$(canadian) every 2 months for mangas only(around 17-18 volumes), unless there is a downtime of releases which I wait for an additional month and get more. And it takes me like 2 days at max to read them all everytime...

None.

Sadly, thats true for me and I feel bad for not buying it, but in the end, it's just pictures with text-bubbles. Even the good ones, those you remember for years.
(And this is an unforgiveably demeaning thought, since some mangaka are truly talented and all are working hard. Still, the feeling stays the same.)
Books that consists of words alone are a whole different matter and thus calm my conciousness since I spend a fortune on those.

I've spent I guess around $50, all told, on manga and anime. Regular books are a different story. I've probably spent well over $1000 on real books. I have over 200 of them. It may not seem like a lot, but I haven't been buying them extensively. Not to mention an average of $8 a book..... it adds up. ( It'd probably be a lot more if I didn't frequent used book stores.)
