This band doesn't exsist anymore. I played guitar. The site is norwegian but I think it you'll understand where to look. The 1st song on the page is called Human Nature. http://www11.nrk.no/urort/Artist/ScumCulture/default.aspx
Let me know what you think! biggrin cool

Sorry to be critical, but my honest opinion is that the rhythm section really needed to be tightened up. It felt like the drummer and bassist were playing at different tempos. That, and the vocals sounded like dying cats. Screaming is good, singing is good, shrieking is good, death grunts are good; dying animals are dying animals. Like...dead. Spot and Nibbles--both dead! Yeah, I miss my pets.

That said, I'm not the target demographic for that music, so my opinion might not mean anything.

Yeah... Not for you... We've never gotten this kind of criticism before. I understand the vocals thing, but that rhythm thing you said is not true imho.

It's not like we just were an amature band. Once we were very devoted to it. We had several gigs. We also sold 'round 1000 CDs. But it only lasted 'til the CD (or EP) was released. Our last gig was the release concert. It was looking good, but school etc. kinda ruined it. biggrin cool

Nice... dunno what kinda effect you're aiming for... but it just seems to lack that last bit of aggression.... other than that, good.

I'm not a metal connoisseur, though... but I know my rock music.

Good luck with your band.... remember us if you become rich and famous.
