well madara is being a complete douchebag. Since there was actually a first and second hokage, I'm pretty sure he didn't kill anyone... Buuut remmeber how madara had hashirama's body(to harvest his cells) when he was with obito? Maybe, after tobirama became the 2nd hokage, hashirama killed himself for the sake of madara. It doesn't explain the fact that he is completely crazy now though... Anyways, surprisingly, probably to most people's satisfaction, the timeskip is virtually over. It fastforwarded like 20 or so years and now stuff is actually happening! This is the first time that I've seen madara as weak though, since he has never won against hashirama. So...any thoughts?
Ehh...most uchihas are troubled troubled people but I agree with you. Itachi is the absolute best uchiha in the series. Actually, I'd argue he's the best character entirely in the series.
By the way, anyone know what the significance of the title of the chapter is? "Aiko" I can understand so much japanese to realize it has something to do with love. don't see much love in the chapter though...
I'm still waiting for what this flashback actually adds. So far it's been only a delay for anything relevant. About time for sword dude to interrupt hasirama and ask if there's going to have a point.
I recall seeing some Uchiha's that Itachi had been talking to after Shisui disappeared, and they definitely had some variety in hair color. Still they don't seem to be as varied as the Senju in appearance.
So, Madara is nutso. But you remember what Tobirama said: the greater their emotional issues, the more powerful their eyes become. Something switched inside Madara back at the beginning when he awakened his Sharingan, and then he just went down further and further.
I wonder though, as this chapter seems to almost be a retcon regarding the fate of Izuna. Originally the scenario was that both Izuna and Madara awakened their Mangekyou sharingan, and were almost equal in skill and power. However as Madara was the clan leader he ended up having to use his Mangekyou Sharingan too much, and was losing his sight. So, Izuna volunteered to give up his eyes so that Madara would gain the eternal Mangekyou. Some then later claimed he just took his eyes for his own fame.
Of course, I've always wondered why they didn't just switch eyes. If they both had awakened that level of Sharingan, wouldn't it have made sense to just switch eyes?
Also I don't see Hashirama giving up his life. How is he going to battle Madara at the valley of the end and seal the kyuubi in his wife Mito if he's dead?
