Why was the flag moving on the wind when there's no wind on the moon?

Staged. But that was brilliant...in a way...laugh

( you want the other thread reported because sth went wrong with the last poll choice? )

I think that the moon landing was a complete fiasco.

They probably made it up to some how be able to justify all the waste of billions of dollars in tax money with their stupid space program.

That wouldnt be the first moon landing would it? Looks way too digital camera, pretty sure color photos werent so hot in 1969

EDIT: i take that back I saw that pic on other places, but if u look carefully you can see it's unnaturally straight on the top of the flag, that must be the stint.

Tho in all honestly if Apollo 11 didn't really land on the moon wtf were 12, 13 (well 13 was tryin to rescue itself), 14, 15, 16, and 17 doing then?

i did believe it was true, but i don´t know what to think anymore.
If they did, why didn´t more people go there again, and if the Moon is reachable, it´s hard not to try to make a base there (there is an space station somewhere, so why not one on the moon?).
So, i will vote "maybe"

first one.

@tsuto: I think they're already planning to build a base there and use the moon's low gravity to make it easier to launch a space shuttle to mars. That's just what I heard.

Lance Armstrong (I'm assuming) has never been to the moon.
Some guy named Neil did though.

I didn't know ol' Lance biked up to the moon. Is that even possible? But really, how can you go there with a suit of tin foil? Even orbiting astronauts have trouble as of now how could they have made it to the moon back then?

Also its funny living in an age of high speed that we still have lag time... say the news does an interview from someone from Japan... the person who asks the question normally has to wait a few secs before he gets a reply back from the person he asked. Now how can someone from the moon in 1969 talk to someone from earth with no lag time?? Hummm confused ?
