Hello everyone !

I can't remember the name of a manga I read and I hope someone will be able to help me !

From what I remember, the story involves a girl who wishes to travel to another town after her mom's death. Because the roads are not sure, she needs a bodyguard. In this world, elves are treated like slaves by the humans who keep their wings to deprive them of their liberty. At a market, she buys a warrior elf from an old man and promises that, if he protects her during her journey, she will free him once they reach the town she wants to go to. He agrees to help her, hoping he will be able to take his wings back during the journey.

I can't remember the name but I'm pretty sure there was a manga just like your description, about fairies rather than elves.
Did it involve fairy wings being sold and stuff or am I thinking of something else?

If I'm right I'm sure someone else will read this post and may be able to point you in the right direction.
