What do you thiank about the ending? I was disapointed that Akira and mina didnt become lovers, i thought for sure their realationship status would be defined before the conclusion. Too many manga titles have similar subtle romance but it just sits there in the background and goes nowhere. It's almost like a rule in action manga to have a love interest, but keep it as only an interest.

Well, not really the end. It's "End of Part 1" I was say what!? But oh well, the story goes on, apparently.

This is from Anime News Network
Rest assured the story will continue....we'll have to wait quite a bit though

The October issue of Media Factory's Monthly Comic Flapper magazine announced on Wednesday that Nozomu Tamaki's Dance in the Vampire Bund horror action manga is returning for a new mini-series and a new second series.
The Sledge Hammer no Tsuioku (Sledge Hammer's Recollections) mini-series will launch in the December issue on November 5. Then, Tamaki will resume the main story in Part II, which will launch next spring.

can you spoil it for me? I only know up to the part where there is an imposter posing as Mina, and Mina herself is in the US and gets caught by one of the Vampire lords. Since the scans have stopped i've been wondering what happened with Mina and Akira (because Akira couldn't tell the difference between imposter and real Mina, apart from her attitude)

The ending for part one is rather pretty solid. It answered many mysteries and gave a succesful end, while creating some new mysteries as well.
Let's wait for the part two.

I thought the ending was alright, was pretty surprised there was going to be a continuation. I think the mangaka could probably just have squeezed a few more chapters into it instead. Haven't read the sequel yet, but from the cover, it doesn't look like it's going to be mainly focus on Akira and Mina. The ending showed some other guy getting into the collapsed tomb.
@popske
pretty much they find out about the imposter and Akira and the maid team saves Mina before anything really happens to her. I think she later drinks some blood from Akira which made him turn into some super werewolf. The imposter wanted to use the virus to control all the vampires to attack all the humans and ended up failing. Akira fights Alphonse and Alphonse dies. They recapture the vampire bund and chase after the imposter. Imposter finds a tomb in the mountain which was suppose to contain some item that gives them power or something which turned out to be a dud. They fight again and end up winning, but imposter gets away with the help (forgot her name, I think it starts with a T). Angie is also on imposter side and that's pretty much it.
