I'm looking for more recommendations once again after reading even more manga. This time I'm looking for a manga that had the main protagonist wondering, "Who am I and where do I belong?". Something along those lines. He can have supernatural powers but I want a manga where the MC is finding himself, because he is different/abnormal. By the question, "Who am I?", I do not mean it literally as if he lost his memory, but it could be he just doesn't know what he is/why he is alive/why he is living.
Sort of like Yami from To Love-Ru, Mewtwo from Pokemon, etc.
I would prefer Seinen manga and for the manga to have a dark undertone.
By the way, I don't care about romance, but I would prefer for the manga not to have ecchi/harem/comedy. If there is comedy, please let there be little of it.

Please and Thank you! You can look at my lists to see if I read any recommendations.

ReMember (KING Gonta) In this, the mc actually looses his memory. It's a seinen without ecchi, harem, comedy.

Also, completely unrelated, but you made me think about a film of Jackie Chan called "Who am I?" from 1998. bigrazz

Alive: The Final Evolution (shounen)
Ajin
Eden - It's an Endless World!
Kurozakuro (shounen)
Omoide Emanon, sort of
Toukyou Kushu
Variante (shounen)

I also want to say Bokurano because it has some fantastic reflections on human existence, but the point is that the protagonists are everyday kids put into an extraordinary position. So not sure if that fits in with what you want here.

Rurou no Tabi (shounen) - I say this because the MC was cursed for many years. Even though he wants to get rid of the curse placed on him, I think he still had to struggle with "who he currently is" in order to make his final decision in the end. (To say more would be spoiling it.) There is some humor in this story, but it's not an over done type of humor.

Pumpkin Scissors (shounen) - The MC had a dark past, but now, I think he's also struggling with "who he is" and his scary ability. How he's trying to fit in with his current team and to figure out the right kind of strength to move on.

If I recall any seinen that had a non-amnesia MC trying to figure out his life, I'll get back to you on that. I don't read seinen too often...

Edit: I think the webtoon Crepuscule (Yamchi) literally fits the bill on "who am I and why am I here?" (In Crep's case: "Why am I different?") I think the humor is just right, or in other words, on the light side in a good way. The MC goes through character development at the right spot.

(For identity/memory issue manga/manhwa, you can just consult my little link in my sig if you should ever feel the need to do so. It hasn't been updated yet. Have been compiling a small list for 2013....)
