Anyone else find the 'realist' part of the title to be misleading?
It seems like the main character spends most of his time trying to reject whats happening around him, which seems like the opposite of a realist. He claims to be a man of science, but does not view supernatural events with objectivity or on the basis of scientific theory. Instead, he chooses to stick with his extremely biased viewpoint. I found that constant aspect of his character, which is contrary to the title, to be extremely irritating.
I think 'Makai Ouji: Devils and Atheist' would be a better title.

Yeah, I agree with you, but I read somewhere that "realist" is an English loanword in Japanese. So, the meaning is just a tad bit different, more along the lines of "skeptic." Which would fit much better...
