I'm looking for a cute romance where a girl and a boy are of the same or similar heights. I actually wanted something where the girl is just a bit taller than the boy, but I feel like that's too specific...

I'd like for them to be in high school or older.

What I don't want:
- unnecessary melodrama and extensive angsting over dumb things
- insecure/spineless female lead (unless there is character development)
- pretty-boy asshole male leads
- big age difference, esp. if it's a high school girl & an older dude

Also no harem, and no ecchi/smut/etc please, unless it's very very miniscule and doesn't deter from the plot.

If possible, please check my lists before recommending anything. Thanks much in advance.

Sakurasaku Shoukougun
Hatsukiai
Hitotsu Yane no Shita no girl is taller

There is probably lots more but I don't usually pay attention to characters' height unless it stands out.

Most of what I want to suggest to you is already on your reading list (like 14-sai no Koi or Haru x Kiyo) dead

Kimi wa Pet, Crimson Hero, and maybe Love Allergy; as -shiratori- said, I don't tend to notice the height of my characters unless special attention is drawn to it.

Stand Up! (YAMAKAWA Aiji) though the girl is quite shy now that I think about it lol

Thanks so much to everyone. I put everything I haven't read on my lists.

And fyi, I don't mind shy characters. I like Utamaru. She's sweet and kind, and it's great to see how she's growing as a person. I just can't stand characters who measure their worth by how much some stupid teenage boy likes them. There needs to be some kind of character development or revelation. If there isn't... well, with those kinds of stories, for me, it's hard to see what there is to even like about the female lead. It is not a healthy relationship when you constantly feel degraded and worthless because of it. It's just sad. Aaaaaand this has turned into a semi-rant but I digress.

More recommendations are always welcome. smile
