yeah....I do have a problem in fact. Where is the list?

Actually, never mind. I think it's pretty cool. So far i found no bugs.

ok, there is a little problem thing. When you add say Naruto to "Add to reading list" and it asks either 'vol increment' or 'chap increment'. It stops after reaching number 2 in either one.

I noticed one small bug... I'm not sure it really was a bug from the feature... but I guess I'll just list it here maybe it can be enlightning...
I tried to add Tenchi Muyo! to my completed list, but it didn't work even after clicking on it a dozen of times (I used the add to my completed list link from the series info page). So I just added it to my wishlist and then moved it.
I found that weird... and I though that maybe you had a test that checks if the series is completly scanlated before adding them to the completed list?

Well anyway, that's just one small bug(if it even was a bug and not my computer freezing lol) , but this new feature is GREAT Thanks Manick!

[edit]I also noticed something, it doesn't show the nice little icons on the release archive page but it does show them on the release page and Manga info(series info list). On purpose? just something you forgot? or maybe technical difficulties?[/edit]

Hmm, I can't seem to reproduce either of you guys' bugs. Try reloading the page a few times, maybe you just need to reload the javascript files. Also Stealth, I didn't include it in the release archive for technical reasons... the way the releases system works right now is slighty inefficient, and adding this feat would slow down the system a huge amount. I'm planning a redesign of the database eventually (which will allow me to put in list icons as well as genre highlighting) but at the moment it's not possible.

[edit] what browsers are you both using? [/edit]

Only potential bug I've found is that when you add a title by an alternative name (e.g. Chibi Vampire for Karin... ack), it shows up in the list with that name, and not the accepted primary name. I suppose you could get around this by adding the name you prefer, but since I copied and pasted several titles from an ANN list, the official Americanized names were used. It would be nice to have the primary name show up in the list regardless of the name you added.

Besides this, however, the new features are absolutely terrific. I'm particularly pleased with how titles you are reading are denoted by an icon on the releases page. While I check new releases frequently as it is, this helps draw my eye to things I'm reading, and will help me to avoid missing a chapter here and there.

That's the way it originally worked.. but then people suggested that I make it so that it works with the title you submit, which made more sense to me. If I get around to it, I'll add an option on the bulk loader so that you can specify whether you want primary name or specified name.

Okay, not a big deal... I'll just remove the ones with odd titles and re-add them with the preferred names.

Actually unnes, when we admins first tested the beta, it worked like how you wanted it...(And I didn't even know it changed until you mentioned it~)

On another note, do you guys think that for the next big and new feature (whenever that will be...) that instead of only admins doing beta tests, we also allow the regulars to help test? (Or an additional group of people?)

It's really up to you guys... but I would love to help when I can, so yeah if I'm given acces to test, I'll do it.
Although I would like to warn you from giving acces to beta features to "too much people"... that always brings trouble.
Oh and about my browser? I was using firefox 2.0.0.1, but also frequently use, IE7 and 6 and FF 1.5. But I guess the bug was probably my internet connection lagging? anyway, if I come up accross that bug or any other one, I'll post again.

No it didn't happen aggain, and all the feature is running smooth. Probably something from my side... (I just didn't want to believe that since I just went though the whole format c: routine... -that actually solved the problem I had with the banner by the way- So I was hopping that my side is as clear as my hard drive)

Yea... I'm currently concentrating on graduating college. This limits the recreational things I can do unfortunately. There's tons of stuff on my wish & unfinished list that I want to get to eventually, but I'll have to wait. The site coding also takes a lot of time so I don't really get a lot of reading time.

On the other hand though, I'm impressed by how much all of you guys read! I'm more of a casual reader & read mostly shounen action adventure & shounen romance.

Well, considering the breaks between releases it really isn't that much. Ok, if you find something new with a lot of chapters you can read for a while, but otherwise it sort of trickels in. Tops 2 chapters a day in average.
anyway, good luck with college, what are you studying?
