Greetings.

First of all, sorry if this has already been suggested, I made a search with the word "award" and nothing came up but perhaps it was under a different name and I missed it.

My suggestion is quite simple: Make a small section in each series' page for the (Japanese official) awards that series has earned.

Now I'll elaborate with some possibilities as to how to do it:
- I'm thinking perhaps under the "User Reviews" section or right above it;
- Make it editable (like the synopsis for example);
- Specify in the editing page that only Japanese official awards are allowed (reason for limiting this to Japanese awards is that it could get pretty hectic if awards from every country could be included, reason for limiting it to official awards should be pretty obvious);
- State that whenever possible the link to the official website of the prize should be provided;
- Maybe this is hard to do (I know next to nothing about programming and related stuff) but it'd be ideal if you could put a "Show Less" option of some sort when it went beyond say 5 awards;

Drawbacks:
-May be hard to define "official". I guess it would require a bit of common sense from the "editors". May be fixed by creating a list of awards on a topic in the forums or something of the sort.

The main reason why I suggest this is mainly for consistency and informative purposes. As much as I can I like to help MU by correcting summaries, completing series' profiles and adding releases/series/authors. Something that has been bothering me is wondering if I should or should not add the awards on the end of the synopsis (for reference: Gin no Saji and Shingeki no Kyojin). There are many series where that is present, but many others where it is not (for reference: Kingdom and Oooku). On the other hand I think it could be pretty cool to have that info on the site.


That's it for my suggestion. Perhaps some people will consider this completely irrelevant, or perhaps it can not be done or is just impractical, in which cases I can only apologize ahead of time. Thank you for the attention.
