I've noticed and I include myself in this, that a lot of noobs embarass themselves by not lurking enough (I myself checked lurk on search forums, but it'd be really amusing if there was a previous topic like this and ironic) and making repeat topics (I do this all the time). So I was wondering if we should put some global thread that tells noobs to lurk before they post? Or at least use the search function for at least 4 pages back (that's how much I go for).

But what if the noobs that follow that rule really well lurk too much, as in they make an account, lurk for about a week, and then decide to never open his or her mouth to talk? I read someone that's probably who said that he or she felt that another member said what she or he wanted to said, but was usually too lazy to actually say. laugh

I think when I became a regular I just stop bothering making up new threads. I think I only made 1 to 3 of them, and after that I started feeling I could no longer make threads of interest. sad Well, that's a bit of an exaggeration but the threads I've started that were discussions or 'contributions' (manga that has a Christmas scene) didn't go past 3 pages when I last saw them and I expected that they died off after being ignored for half a year. ;) bigrazz And a thing that irritates me still ( sad ) is that for that Christmas manga thread I started some girl replied, "Thanks, but I already read all those titles." eek mad Did I say that I was listing the titles that I knew of already for that girl's enjoyment? (I didn't, obviously. bigrazz ) But admittedly I am probably the only one that took her comment that hard, mostly likely. sad none

3-8-3 posts... none

What i mean is in the search function, I only sift through 4 pages of threads that appear, if there are even 4 pages.

Good idea, though I don't think it'll help much, most of them can't even see the no downloads rule on the registration page >.>

I'd much more appreciate they lurk and only write things when they have something to write about and not just spam useless and pointless crap all over the place.

If they don't want to attribute to things at the moment it's fine by them, lurkers are better than idiots anyday.
