just searching for her song after watching Memories of Matsuko, upon seeing her face all Adachi mitsuru 70's and 80's female protagonist come to my mind

Note for admins : please do not relocate this thread, i post the video not for the music but because Mari amachi reminding me so much of Miyuki and manami from adachi manga.

Not really. I also never really liked her. Not that I especially disliked her either. I think many are much better.

You mean compared to many idols nowadays? I agree.

Adachi himself seems to have liked Nakamori Akina, whom he mentioned in Touch. In her age group I prefer Shimonari Satoko or Yamaguchi Momoe. In Amachi's generation there's Nakajima Miyuki, for one. Shimonari and Nakajima can't weren't really idols though.

im not japanese, so i dont know all the artist you suggested. the great thing about amachi is her voice, that soft soprano and falsetto is so captivating just like cotton pillow on your ears.
