To me it was an obvious answer the manga is so much better then the 6 episode OVA. Although I saw the anime first and thus alot of scenes seemed familiar, I still felt that the manga gave a better outlook on the whole build up of the relationship between the two leads. Also, to me the ending was sooo much better because in the anime they made Seto become some sort of homeless "stalker" while in the manga he wasn't so much of a bum. The one praise I would give the anime is that it does a very good job with the music and atmosphere. The voice actors where believable but I regret it wasn't a full blown 24 episode anime. Anyways, discuss this awesome manga amonst yourselves.

It's very rare for me to choose the anime over the manga. I's is no exception, so I'll have to go with manga.

Seriously, isn't the manga like 150 chapters? How can they do justice to such a long series with six episodes?

Manga, the story was more worked out and too little of it was used in the anime

Too easy. The manga. The journey was quite a long one...really. The feelings at the end just aren't the same >.< You just don't....feel it. You don't really feel like they are meant for each other. The manga does just that (which includes a lot of tearful moments). Besides...there's more ecchi in the manga =P... well..the DVD specials were...okay...I guess >_> but they were too short! laugh

I'm coming to your house soon. mad laugh

Anyway, I choose manga. The anime was too short to cover everything.

Always manga. It should always be the manga. At least, it should always be manga when we're on a forum dedicated to manga and with no direct connection to anime (Though there are more than enough indirect connections to justify the amount of attention anime gets here).

Barring that train of thought simply because it doesn't appear to show my personal opinion, I'll continue on to say manga. Always manga. I dislike anime. I think anime as a medium has severe flaws. And I did like I"s the manga back in the day when I read it, as well, and appreciate the gobs of material cut from the anime.

Wow, I didn't realize I'm the second post in this thread. So long ago...

I agree with the manga=better vote, but what about the smaller 2-part anime? I think that added a fair bit to the story when put into the story as and actual, untold event
