I read this cool manga a few years ago and really liked it. I am currently re-reading it now. The cat and mouse attraction between the uke prince and seme minister is interesting. It's too bad it was never updated. Has anyone ever read the book? Is it available in print now? In the book, when did Rong rape Feng ? In the manga, it's at the river. He is one cold guy. He just slammed the poor prince on his shaft and humped him like a bull in heat without mercy. I really felt bad for the prince. He's 19, but acts like a virgin, or maybe it's his first time with a man.

I'm a pretty huge fan myself and while I really like the manga, I still slightly prefer the novel version if only for the fact that it's the source material and there's more to read. I wish I could read Chinese so that I could catch up on the novel versions, but I've been keeping track with the translations from here. She has the links to the translations that she didn't work on either and she's open to answer any questions you have about the series. Be warned, there's a volume or two that was translated by someone else (rather badly), but it's better than nothing. Oh, if only we were so fortunate as to have the opportunity to buy it in a translated version. It's very long (20+ volumes), and it would take an extreme spike in popularity before I think any publisher is going to undertake the job of translating and publishing it.

The manhua is still being worked on from what I understand, it's just that the progress has been extremely slow. The second volume has been released in China/Taiwan, it just hasn't been translated or licensed in any official capacity yet.

I don't recall from the manhua RT raping Feng Ming. He did attempt to force him in one instance, but FM accidentally bit his own tongue and passed out. It's also not very clear in the manhua, but according to the novel version, FM actually attempted to bite RT's tongue when he was forcing himself on FM, but Rong Tian moved away quickly before FM was able to do so, and so he ended up biting his own tongue. Rong Tian believes that FM was trying to commit suicide to avoid the rape, and from then on, he doesn't do anything to FM that isn't consensual.

I should also be clear that RT hasn't raped Feng Ming, but it's fair to guess that he has raped/forced An He (the previous soul/person that inhabited the body of the Prince) quite a few times. Rong Tian was cruel and ruthless before FM, and you'll get glimpses of that character sometimes. It's hard to believe that about him because most of the time he's seriously like the prince on the white horse. His devotion and love for Feng Ming is unquestionable. He proves it time over time again, which makes it hard to believe that he used to be so malicious. However, the fun is watching RT change because of his love for FM.

I highly recommend reading the translations if you enjoyed the manhua. It's a great combo of political intrigue and historical romance. The lovey-dovey moments are worth it alone.
