Hi guys,

I am in the mood for some manga that depicts a building/founding of a village/fortress/community from scratch. Presumably the MC starts gathering members and resources and working together to build something up.

Doesn't have to be a war or action manga, slice of life will do as well smile

Thanks. cool

1st that comes to mind is Log Horizon, the anime.

Other than that, I think you can find what you want in many survival(ish) or maybe even Post- Apocalyptic mangas. The one most fitting probably being Suicide Island.

Re:Monster (Novel) (and its manga adapation) features the building a community, but it isn't from scratch.

Eden no Ori has a fair amount of this. I haven't finished reading it so not sure how far in that direction it ends up going, but 'building a country' is the main character's explicit goal.
7 Seeds has some too, though it's less of a focus (but overall much better manga).
