I just remember this one scene where a girl is walking down the street with her arms full of groceries or something, and then she gets shot. And the guy who likes her is on top of a building/ in a building and sees her get shot. And I think the guy has powers or is an outcast or something....

I thought it was Lelouch and Shirley from Code Geass, but I watched it and this scene never happened...

Also there is a manga (I think a one-shot) in which a girl whose type is "plain/normal guys" falls in love with her classmate, who is a normal guy and wears glasses. They have the same colored scarves. She tries to be a more studious girl to win his heart and some ladies mistake them for a couple when they walk together (bcuz they have matching scarves).
