Is it possible for moderators to remove already-approved reviews?

I used to write short minireviews for many series, long ago, and they all got accepted and approved, however, when I looked some time ago - I have virtually none at all, which makes me wonder - did someone remove them? I usually wrote conflicting reviews for series which I found over- or under- rated, leading me to wonder - did people remove them out of malice, or spite, towards me for that?

In that case, would I be able to see the deleted comments myself, or not? Maybe my memory is just failing me, but I feel like it honestly might have been the case - I remember writing far, far more reviews than I have.

could you please say what you mean exactly, cause you used both...

comments: the stuff on the series page down below, those can not be deleted by users, you can only report them and mods will only delete them if there are actual reasons for it (usual forum etiquette stuff)

reviews: the stuff you get when following a link on the series page or via the review page on the side. this can't even be changed by the user himself, I never noticed mods deleting that stuff and those can't be reported.

so probably your memory is just failing you biggrin

If you're talking about the comments at the bottom of the series page, it is checked by a moderator first and if it's really short like only about 1 sentence long, it might've been removed for being too short and spam-like.

As tart said, series comments are normally only removed if they're shorter than a couple of lines.
