A locked thread means that you can no longer post to that thread, the reason for the locking differs. I see in your thread's case that blakraven666 locked it because, 1) your thread title was waay too long and 2) you made your thread into a poll. I see that you had trouble making the thread though.

Here are a few tips:

When making a thread in a forum make sure you click "new thread" and not "new poll" unless you do want to make a poll. In the topic make sure you keep it brief but to the point. It should serve as a topic title only. Anything else belongs in the "post body" section. So, your whole title in your now-locked thread (and coincidentally this thread as well) should have been posted within the "post body" section.

A few more related tips:

Try to keep topics related to the forum. this thread would have better served as a post in the Random Questions thread. Should you ever have any questions the best thing to do is contact a mod or post in that thread.
