I'm looking for a oneshot, and I remember a bit about it, not a whole bunch. Pleeeease, help me find it.
The story starts out with girl and boy being broken up for at least a few months. High Schoolers. The girl broke up with the guy because she saw no difference between the way he treated her and the way he treated everyone else. She felt really hurt, and felt that he did not actually like her. Back to present time, boy is still super nice to her, and she is just super awkward around him. I don't remember all the details, but she was wrong, and he was really unhappy when she broke up with him. They end up getting back together at the end, because neither one of them stopped having feelings for each other.
I remember liking it, and I reeeeeally reeeeally want to find it again! Please help!

Sounds really familiar. I think I've read that twice. Do you remember, was it a stand alone oneshot or in a volume with some other stories (by the same author or as an anthology)?

I think it may have been in an anthology, but I am not completely sure.

I've tried looking for it but it seems I can't find it. But I am sure I know what you're looking for. I think the art was somehow uglish, male MC had black hair and was in a sport's team, there were some smut scenes ( ) at the end, and their break-up was something like "let's break up" and "if that's what you want *walks away*" and making up like "I left you because I treasured you too much and couldn't hold back >>> *steamy scene*" thing.
EDIT: Oooooorrr, I'm just completely wrong, I remember the other one of that kind... I think the MC didn't have colored hair, and I might find it now... but don't hope too much.

lol this was one of the few that was not smutty. Like, they kissed maybe once or twice? Really really tame. The second description sounds right.

Then let's try harder. Is there anything else you remember, anything, regarding story or author, cover of the volume or oneshot, art style...? But what's more important, do you remember if that oneshot had a summary before you started reading it?

Yay! It definitely had a summary.
Umm... Both the main characters had light hair. The guy wasn't a player, but he was one of those super polite people who acts considerate of everyone. I'm thinking...

Now, tell me, do you remember any keywords from the summary? And what about art style? Could you compare it to some mangaka's or other manga?
If you think you'll be more successful, I suggest visiting Google and choosing advanced search.
Then, typing in www.mangaupdates.com (or, in my case, mangapark.com, it displays nice search results) in the website bar down there and some words you think will appear in the result page about that oneshot (but choose wisely; you have several search bars for words you're absolutely sure that will appear in the result page, for words which MAY appear, for a whole phrase etc. so type in those which you think would be most appropriate, like oneshot and something from the summary).
Also, when it gives back results, you can see the cover image on Baka-Updates which could trigger your memory.
And that's how I'd travel my memory lane. It is more efficient if you do it because I think I read that oneshot only once and it probably didn't leave any bigger impression on me as it did on you. So give it a try. I am afraid I would waste both of our time always asking you for details. And I've already roamed around for hours without results.
EDIT: Oh, and, think about how you came across that oneshot and try looking for it there. If you have any clues, and ponder upon methods of looking for it, there'll be greater chances for success. This way, you can only hope that somebody else will see this thread and provide you with an answer. Or you'll find it again by accident.
