The guy is pretty much a bookworm, wears glasses. In the beginning he had a crush on a girl from the school that he used to go, and because he failed an entrance test that's why he went to another high school which is different from the girl of his dream.
As for the girl, she tall, really tall. People call her monster/giant (couldn't remember clearly) and she had her hair covered her eyes. Her ex boyfriend is really popular in school. She had two best friend who were against her being with the guy when he finally ask her out; which is the girl was complimenting the guy and to the fact that the guy told her, she's obviously telling him that she loves him and so he asked if they should go out.
One scene that I remember from the manga is that the girl accidentally stepped on the guy's glasses and she ended up escorting him, and on their way they were talking about the guy's crush and he told her the entire story and his crush was actually in front of him. He got rejected by his crush because his crush said she wanted to focus on studies and she's not interested in this kind of stuff.
