For people that have seen the drama and read the manga, can anyone tell me if the drama is as good as the manga? Does it follow the storyline?

I haven't read the manga yet so I don't know if it follows the exact storyline, but I did find the drama quite fun. eyes It doesn't really *finish* the story though it does have an ending of sorts; I've heard rumors of a second season but nothing definite.

They're both good and there are no really big changes in the storyline.
The girl is just as annoying as in the manga, the guy is impressive.

I think the dorama's great and quite faithful, apart from Fukinaga's character and Round Three. For a three hour finale (1/2 of it was flashbacks from previous episodes none), they really skimped on the last round. One thing I loved about the live-action is the chemistry between Nao and Akiyama. It was fun to see scenes like the "what's S&M" and "I'm Nao's belonging" lived out.

The drama sticks to the manga, so no worry there.
There are only a few differences in the current arc of the manga, since the drama ended after the airport arc.
If you already read the manga to this point then the drama won't entertain you that much, but since Nao is so cute and often funny ("What is SM?") it's worth a watch biggrin

actually. it should be the main guy that is COOL but not "mad weird" and not the girl (who's cute. arr.)

The drama mainly follows the manga plot, however there are a few (minor) differences, for instance, the character portrayal (appearace?) of Fukunaga in general, though the general role is the same. And the plot twists around the Contraband game. Oh, and the drama Kanzaki Nao's lack of character development (something I hope will improve in the second season of Liar Game - airing in November?). Other than that, I personally thought that Matsuda Shota did a well in portraying Akiyama.

I really liked the first season even though it had some differences from manga, but now that the second season started it's just too weird x/ even though they still seem to follow manga, but oh the drama, the lights, the TVs, settings and scene sets~! Akiyama won't have to worry about taking LGT down because they should go bankrupt on their own soon (it annoys me how they waste money for some king-like chairs). The actors are great but somehow I feel sorry for them in this 2nd season..
