"Today I am posting the 5th book's 38th chapter together with a notification regarding the suspension of updates. This is said notification.
To everyone who has read up until now, thank you very much. And sorry, this story will be halted and written anew. There is another notification on my blog discussing this matter in slightly more detail. My plans for what I will do after I stop updating are written below.
1．This story will remain and I will submit a revised edition as a different work.
2．The revised edition will be submitted one month from now.
3．I will store up all the updated chapters and submit them at a rate of once per month.
4．Once a week I will report about this story in my blog.

"Good day, this is Roy.
I am currently writing the 38th chapter. As for the suspension, honestly I'm still worried but as I stated before I am doing it. Up until now I have been thinking about writing until I finish at least the 5th book, but it's already been over 20 days since my last submission and time passes as I can't write anything new. Today, the 10th of June at 4pm, I will submit the 38th chapter as far as I have written, but until today no matter how much I rewrote it I couldn't accept my work. I thought that if I don't stop somewhere I wont ever be able to update the story. As such, together with the 38th chapter I will stop updating this and work on rewriting it.
To everyone who has supported me until now, thank you very much, and I am very sorry that it seems like I'm suddenly dropping it.

Good day, this is Roy.
June 17th, a week has passed since I stopped updating.
This is the first report since then.
Thank you for all of the support earlier.
From here I will write a weekly report but I don't want it to be just a word or two so I'll talk about how the story is coming along.
State of Progress / Present Condition
Until today I have been rewriting it a bit and have been adjusting all of my story and character settings, etc.
As I was adjusting the data I discovered a lot of memos I wrote with new ideas as I was writing the story.
What I wrote seems like it can be used in the revised edition or even in completely different stories altogether.
When I looked at the dates it seems like I wrote them around the same time I started writing The Man Picked up by the Gods but I completely forgot that I even wrote them so when I found them I wondered what they were.
Not just having material for a revised edition but having room to think up a different story surprised me.
There is no issue with my health so as I get my writing plans in order I will start to write the story all out.

Good day, this is Roy.
June 24th, today I will be reporting on my situation.
This week I started rewriting the story.
From here I will write until July 10th, when I plan on posting it.
The contents of the revised edition will be changed here and there but, up until the third season there will not be many large changes. With that said, I plan on changing the third season drastically. I think I will even show 7 new kinds of Slimes that I couldn't fit in before.
The next report will be on July 1st.
What this means is that the translators should translate up until the third season then stop and wait for the new version, although I don't think they'll be able to catch up to that point before July 10th.
As for the chapters in seasons 1 and 2, I think the translators should retranslate these chapters using the current translations as a basis to speed things up. But there WILL be changes, even if they are few, that need to be updated as they could become very important details later on.
