Is this a weekly, bi-weekly, or a monthly series release?
I really dislike great manga series being released monthly.

looking at what the scanlator writes on the releases i would guess its bi-weekly.
you could start reading the novel if you want to get further into the story Maou no Hajimekata (Novel)

This is a new series. If you look up the publisher and the magazine, it is published in: Comic Valkyrie. If you check their website, it seems to be a monthly release. So in dependence on the raw release, after this is scanlated up to date, it will be at least monthly.
