The June issue of Shueisha's Ultra Jump magazine published the final chapter of Ryoji Minagawa's Peace Maker manga (no relation to Nanae Chrono's similarly titled manga) on Thursday. Shueisha will publish the manga's 17th and final compiled book volume on July 19.

The manga is set in a world where gunfighters put their life on the line in quick-draw duels for money. Hope Emerson, son of legendary gunfighter Peace Emerson, travels the world with his inherited Peacemaker revolver and his quick-draw skill, searching for his brother, and squaring off against the Crimson Executioners private army multiple times in the process.

Minagawa (Project ARMS, Spriggan) launched the manga in Ultra Jump in June 2007. Shueisha published the manga's 16th compiled book volume on February 24. The manga has more than 2.9 million copies in print.

Viz Media published three volumes of Minagawa's Spriggan manga as Striker in North America from 1998 to 1999. Viz also released all 22 volumes of his Project ARMS manga in North America from 2003 to 2009. The Spriggan manga was adapted into an anime film in 1998, while Project ARMS was adapted into a 26-episode television anime series in 2001.

Minagawa launched a new manga titled Kaiƍ Dante ("Dante" Ocean King) in Shogakukan's Monthly Shonen Sunday magazine last December.
