Many classic movies are westerns, like The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, and The Outlaw Josey Wales, and many others. There are even several manga/anime that share the themes and images of the Western film template.
I personally love westerns. Anybody else got any love?

How are the threads that I make analogous to xm? His had very little substance and were basically all the same. Mine are legit. This IS an online forum, where people can discuss various topics.

thats true, but some of his had some substance as well, he just went about it the wrong way, if he could have said it better, the topic's would have not been so looked down upon, imo.
but your also right, your topic's seem to be better off, than his were

I'd be squealing if I squealed.
But I don't.
The sentiment is there.
Unforgiven. Tombstone. High Noon. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Magnificent Seven. Josey Wales. I could go on.
"You're so drunk you can't hit nothing. In fact, you're probably seeing double."
"I have two guns, one for each of ya."
"I'm your huckleberry."
"Dyin' ain't much of a living, boy."
Now I've started and I'm unsure if I'll be able to stop.

Oh yes, I love it.
Although I have been known to frequent some good old Gene Autrey. Singing cowboy, now that brings back some memories (sometimes, I think I'm older than I really am).
I need to find some more of The Duke.

Used to despise them, but they've grown on me to the point hat I enjoy the occasional Western whenever I see one on TV. Of course, seeing as the only TV channel I watch is The History Channel, I don't see many...
I know no names off the top of my head, but I have seen just about all of the famous ones courtesy of the days when there was only one TV in the house and my dad was in charge.
I scare me with my newfound appreciation of the genre--I'm turning into my dad!

I've only recently got into them, I'm starting off with the classics. So far, The Outlaw Josey Wales, The Good, The Bad & The Ugly and I think one of the Fistful movies.
I saw that 3:10 To Yuma (recent version), and that was brilliant.

I love Western, a few weeks ago I saw The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (this movie is just so brilliant) and it sparked my interest in Western once again, have to watch all my old favourites again....
