A lot of people already know and say how bad it is, but the damn thing's still running. As far as what I've heard from others, the series barely focuses on the male and female lead anymore. Now they're just supporting characters to a bunch of other overpowered characters, and there's way more fighting between the humans (ladies) themselves rather than more global collaboration to stop the original alien threat that still exists. Men are pretty much useless, even with the ability the manga's named after. Only one who's ability surpasses others is the main character, yet he rarely uses it. It offered potential romance between the two leads (main reason I held on for many chapters, that and the action as a nice plus), yet of course even that barely progresses.
Seriously... It's coming close to nearly 8 years since it started up, and it barely offers any new + interesting material... I'd say it fits the bill...

The criteria for a series being overrated is subjective.
No way we are going to arrive at a unified opinion, and people will just take offense when there favourite series is marked "overrated". For eg I don't like the yaoi genre so I think every yaoi series is overrated and therefore I think people are being biased after seeing rosey eyed men fawning over each other, and highly rate a series, even though it might deserve it, I won't know because I don't read yaoi.

Of course we're not going to arrive at a unified opinion. We're just putting our opinions out there to share our thoughts. We'll agree or disagree, but no real harm done. As for your example though:

But you do realise that's not what this thread is about, if it's just about voicing opinions about liking a series or not or about comparing two series you could just write a review about them or rate them.
