Its hard not to like curry, specially with the after effect it causes when you eat too much of it =]

Rich Chilli and Coriander curry with beef chunks, or creamy chicken curry...

Yum.

Curry always tastes so good with a cold drink.

I vote Curry.

I like curry myself, though I have never tasted japanese curry. People told it taste different than Indian curry.

I freaking hate potatoes.
I eat them at least 4 times a week.

I like Indian curry, but I've only tried Japanese curry rice once. Made it myself, and I think I got the recipe wrong because it came out more green than the red I was expecting. Was still quite good, though.

They're both rather gross. Lesser of two evils would have to be thai curry.

Correct me if I'm wrong (or if I'm not remembering correctly) and forgive me in advance for a long post.

I forget where I read/saw/heard it, but nikujaga (meat & potato stew) is supposed to be one of those traditional home-made meals that every Japanese male supposedly loves and has fond memories of. It's one of those things where you say "My mom/dad/family made the best nikujaga!" and by eating it it brings back all those fond memories associated with your family/home.

Even Wikipedia calls it "comfort food" and touches upon the sort of reaction it produces.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nikujaga

It goes so far that if you were to ask any Japanese male which he prefers, nikujaga or curry, the overwhelming majority supposedly picks nikujaga.

Thus, Eri was planning on making it for her father, whom hasn't been home and she hasn't seen in a while. (such a sweetie biggrin )

Unfortunately, since business takes her father away before they can have dinner, she ends up standing in the rain with the extra ingredients. Then Harima comes by and shields her from the rain. (This is the point at which I think Eri begins to develop feelings for Harima.) A bit surprised by this sudden kindness (especially from the delinquent), Eri decides maybe she can repay him by making the nikujaga for him instead. When she asks which he prefers, Harima (being the oddball that he is) naturally picks curry instead of the expected nikujaga.

*Note: Karasuma also picked curry, showing just how strange he and Harima are from normal guys, and yet similar in some ways to each other.*

Whew...I hope I got that right. Otherwise I just wasted a bit of everyone's time!

EDIT: The whole Tae incident later is just a misunderstanding. Harima really does prefer curry, but it sounded like he lied to Eri earlier, based off of what Tae mentions.
