They get the job done OK, and fund science pretty well. So I can't say I'm unhappy smile Though, I do wish we'd play global police less.

I kinda like where I live. At least, when I compare it with other countries that are down right shit. (like Pakistan)

dude what gives you the right to call a country down right shit ...the fuck do u no? have u ever been to Pakistan? not understandin wht goes on and talkin shit
people like u really piss me off

The constitution?
That's what gives people where I live the right to freely express an OPINION!
An opinion, I might add, for which I have plenty of arguments to support it.
I could do the same for plenty of other middle eastern, african, asian, european or american countries.
Pakistan was just the first to come to mind. Plus, I like how it sounds, pakistan.

dude calling someplace down right shit is wht i have a problem with ... course u can say whtevr u want heck i no better thn any1 how much trouble pakistan is in rite now but still it pisses me off whn people like u call it down rite shit ..sure we got problems ...a LOT of problems but still i love my country and i couldnt agree more with this

"Do you love your country?"
It's like asking if I love my little brothers...
Sure I love them but that doesn't mean that I will take shiet from them.
If someone is picking on them I'm the 1st to defend them
but also the 1st to make fun of them when I can.
If they are in need of comfort they can count on me,
but if they need to be bailed out of trouble/jail... wait a couple of days THEN I'll bail them out.
If they're in the wrong I'll back them up... then chew them a new asshole for being idiots.

"DO I LOVE MY COUNTRY?"
YES but NOT unconditionally

I'm from Canada and I love it! biggrin (Beautiful British Columbia)
I wouldn't live anywhere else - except maybe the US since it's similar, but Canada is number 1 in my heart!

Well, I'm from the US, and... I don't think I love it. *shrugs* I love our heritage, the founding fathers and whatnot, but... currently, no.

I feel like the US is just so.. err... uncultured? It bothers me. There's aspects of the US I love, of course, don't get me wrong, but... as a whole, no, I don't. Everyone always tells me I'd be better off in Europe, though, so I guess I'm an anomaly.

I'm from Portugal, but it needs to be more developed and open minded. I kinda like it, but there is a great disparity between major cities and everything else.

I love Canada. The only thing I would like better is if it grew a pair of balls and learned how to say NO to other...countries... *looks at US*

Well I grew up in Belgium and I kinda got fond of the country. It grows on you but I don't really love it. Though I loved the fact there were some great chocolate stores near my home and that I could get married to my girlfriend being that I'm also a girl^_^

Now I live in Japan and yeah I love it. I kinda feel more at home over here then I did in Belgium. The people are friendlier, the streets and environment is cleaner and there are no people smoking in public places. And I feel safer here at night then I did back in Belgium. Though I don't like it that me and my wife (we'll since we're both women) get stared at when we behave like a couple.

I think you and I live in different versions of Japan. I can't imagine a version of this county where no one smokes in public.
