Note: All applicants are required to complete a QCing test.
The QC process is Syuura is as follows:
» QCers get sent the scanlation and make notes of the changes to be made in a .txt file
» The .txt file with the list of changes to be made gets sent to the editor who will then make the changes
» The fixed scanlation will then be sent back to the QCer again
» We usually do a minimum of 2 QCs per chapter though most of the time it ends up being 3 QCs per chapter

= Never Give Up! by Mutou Hiromu =
Summary: When Kiri was a child, she made a promise to Tooya, her childhood friend, that she would become a beautiful princess and marry him. However Kiri finds out that becoming a princess isn't as easy as it as it seems, especially since she looks like a boy while Tooya is a boy pretty enough to be a princess. When Kiri's mother, who's the head of a modeling agency, hires Tooya as a model, Kiri becomes worried that Tooya will drift away from her so she begs her mother to let her model to. Her mother agrees however there's a catch – Kiri has to work as a male model and if anybody finds out her real identity her dream of becoming Tooya's princess will be ruined.

= Kitchen Princess by Ando Natsumi =
Summary: Najika is an orphan and amazing cook who lives at Lavendar House. She dreams of finding her flan prince; a boy who cheered her up many years ago as a child. Her only clue is the spoon he gave her. Now, Najika is off to study at Seika Academy, because she learned that's where the spoon came from. There she meets two new friends (Sora and Daichi) who instantly recognise her talent for cooking. Unfortunately, many of her classmates do not and make life hard for her. However, she is willing to tough it out in order to find her prince (Summary source: Anime News Network).

Summary: Angel-Tai is a special task force consisting of five members – Milfeulle, Mint, Ranpha, Forte and Vanilla. Their mission: protect Prince Shiva, the sole survivor of the royal family. Led by Commander Takuto, Angel-Tai must pilot their Angel Frames and complete their mission (Summary source: Syuura).

The criteria for editors are:
» Familiarity with Photoshop and the editing process – able to re-draw* and join double pages in addition to the basics of editing (e.g. leveling, rotating, cropping, etc)
» Responsible - will inform me in advance if they are busy with school/work/etc, and can't edit for a while and not just disappear without saying anything
» Easily contactable – IRC, MSN, frequents forum, e-mail
» Willing to put in the necessary time and effort – editing is a time-consuming job and it can take up to several hours to edit one chapter
» Experience is preferred but not required
* Having re-drawing skills is essential as Kitchen Princess and Never Give Up! often contain pages which require re-drawing for hair strands, background images, etc.
