ROFL - in the old days, whenever i chat and this one comes out, i ask if he/she is literally rolling on the floor laughing... like huh really, you are actually rolling on the floor?

Actually I do sometimes use internet abreviations like 'ZOMG' and 'LOL' and if I say them out loud I don't say the letters..I try to pronounce them the way they're spelt.. I know... a bit weird but I create a word that would sound similar.
I don't get embarrassed by saying them out loud since no one understands me. Advantages of creating a word for them. XD

I hate people who say "lol" irl, I really do. ._. It's annoying, retarded, and did I mention it makes you sound like a retard?
But I do use "Woot?" and "Wtf?" when with certain people (some people don't get it, as English isn't my mother language).

Only when we're joking and using them intentionally. Otherwise, no. I barely use internet abbreviations anyways when I type on IM.

I use lol a lot and dont mind it, its easier to type when ur not readin carefully or have nothing to say . Besides I use OMG/ZOMG/rofl, but I prefer making faces with characters rather than shortening it
