It's probably going to end within this year or the next year in my opinion. It's already showing that big battle with Pein, so it has a chance to end. But then again, the issue with Sasuke still isn't over...

well remember... sasuke is part of the akatsuki now... considering itachi and deidara who was one of the biggest characters in the akatsuki dieing was stating we went pretty far in the story... im assuming sasuke and naruto will have a final showdown pretty soon, and ITS GANNA TEAR THE WORLD APART

Yes, Sasuke is part of Akatsuki, but did you really think he was going to stay with them? Of course not, he's not that much of an idiot.

-Sasuke dies (Face it, he's too far gone to come back, things do not look promising) but it'll probably be a heroic death
-Sasuke generally being whiney, trying to destroy Konoha
-Whatever Bee ends up doing
-Madara's evil plan
-The deal with Pein/Pain
-Danzo doomed attempt of a coup
-That key to Naruto's seal Jiraiya left behind
-Some specifics on how Akatsuki are going to use the Bijuu
-Deaths of the rest of Akatsuki
-Orochimaru AGAIN! He's the universe's biggest cockroach. Damn you Kabuto!

okay, well i don't know if this is "official" but i read a comment made by Kishimoto and he said that he doesn't feel like he's even half way done with the whole story because there are so many unresolved issues and more things for Naruto to work through...
I read this somewhere, i think ann.com, but i'm not 100% positive but it was a comment he left...
I believe him because it doesn't even seem like Naruto is even getting close to becoming Hokage which will probably be the ending since that was Naruto's goal since Chapter 1.
