Awesome chapter. Kishi's got a lot going on now and it's all looking good. The Pein Vs Naruto fight will [hopefully] be a great one.
Yes, Anbu is useless. When hasn't Anbu been useless? They couldn't even stop a dunce academy student from stealing an important scroll with secret jutsu.
Tsunade will probably be fine in this fight. Once Naruto came into play to defend her, that was mostly settled. However, with her lifespan being cut twice now, plus she's already pretty old, she likely doesn't have too long to go anyway.
As for Kakashi...I think he's still alive and here' why. Some of it is just speculation, but I think it points towards the conclusion that he's still alive and just near-death.
1) What exactly killed him? Physically, he only had "minor" wounds (many no-name ninja have survived much worse). There's nothing physcial that I could see that woudl have killed him. The overuse of his MS probably put too much of a stress on his body. Don't forget he used what seemed like a much stronger version for considerably more time against deidara, then again to escape the explosion. From what we know, he only used his MS for very short periods of time and not to do anything that would put a lot of stress on it.
2) Tsunade is not the type of person to lie about medical conditions....she seems very straight up about stuff. If Kakashi was completely dead, she likely would have said so.
3) Why did she use her slug to help protect Kakashi's body? If she believed he was dead, why wouldn't she had put the chakra into defending Shikamaru or Kiba or anybody else instead (instead of having Shikamaru break his leg and therefore no longer able to help people escape or get medical help)?
4) Why is Kakashi in nearly, if not every, chapter since he was defeated? There has to be a reason that Kishi keeps bringing him up over and over again.
5) In the fight with the Pein bodies, Kakashi didn't really do much. The manga seemed to skip through a lot of the fighting and only showed some scenes. Yeah, Kakashi had some plans, but he didn't really do much. In the fights with Jiraiya Vs Pein, Sasuke Vs Itachi, Asuma Vs Hidan, and the 3rd's fight with Orochimaru, the entire battle was described in detail. That seemed to be missing in Kakashi's battle. Kakashi's fight just doesn't fit his pattern for killing a character.
6) The scene where he talks to his father is not a definitive sign that he's dead. None of the other characters that died had this happen. Plus, it's a work of fiction where anything can happen, but even in real life people have near-death experiences where they believe to have spoken to a family member that has passed on. Spirits have not played any role in the Naruto universe so far, so why start now with having Kakashi's spirit talk to his father's spirit? More likely, Kakashi is seeing this in his mind.
7) He's the second most popular character. Usually the creator doesn't kill off one of the top 3 characters. It's possible, but very unlikely.
The reasons to suggest he's dead seem to me to be more superficial...he looks dead, he was defeated, etc. There is no evidence that I saw that suggests anything more than that.
u wrote tat much, I believe u.
