1. I won't eat fast food for the rest of the year. I'm going to be in college next year so I can only promise one year.

2. I'm not gonna bite my nails. (this one'll fail for sure but just to see how long I last) :]

Anyone else wanna formally declare their resolutions?

Oh, and would pizza be considered fast food...? no

That would be kinda hard for me, I work, and I'm just too hungry to care after I'm off.

I resolve to save up enough money to either move out, or at least get a car.

I resolve to watch the dorama, music programs, etc. that I've downloaded & clear some space on my hard drives~ laugh

I'm sure there are plenty of others I could make, but that one I have at least *some* hope of keeping. eyes

new resolution for me:
3A. buy a motorcycle
3B. learn to ride a motorcycle.

@tofuqueen: i wanna organize/read all of my manga and dramas too, but i think the pile would just keep replenishing itself indefinitely...

Redeem myself from a crappy Fall Quarter performance in my first year of college with at least a 3.5

Yeah, it does do that.

I'm not worried about the manga b/c it doesn't really take up that much space, but a dorama series can easily use up 4GB & those have gotten a bit out of hand. (I have a hard time resisting batch torrents.... no ) I just need to watch a few series, and *boom* I'll have a lot more storage space~

I also resolve to (UGH!!!) organize my garage some time this year. Probably after the weather warms up, so like...June or so... dead

Impossible for me unless I want to make myself sick. Why? I have a part time job in mcdonalds, so I need to eat the food otherwise i'll faint from not eating XD

My last year's resolution failed. I said I wanted to see how many days I could go without swearing.

I can tell you, I managed 1 day. 1 effing day. And it's not like I forgot, come september I still remembered this resolution laugh

So this year, i'm like, nahh, i can't be asked. Obviously I'm gonna work hard for my exams whether its my new years resolution or not XD

Also, shouldn't this be 2009 new years resolutions? laugh

Edited the title.

I don't see the deal though why you would make a resolution specifically on this date, January the First. o__O I make resolutions throughout the year, whether it's a new year or not. I haven't made any for New Year, since I've never done it before in my life. And I doubt that I'll ever pick up that habit. laugh

I think the idea is something like "fresh new year, resolve to do things differently". I don't generally make them - watching my video files & cleaning out the garage have been on my "to do" list for a while already.

Same, if I really intended to do something I would just do it without waiting for new years to make the resolution. There are numerous things I would like to say, but I won't because I know I will fail.

I never make those things they seem to be a burden instead of a life changing experience for the new year.
