This new poll was suggested by our member LunaMay. So what do you like doing here on MU? (And I purposely didn't put an "other" choice)
And since I'm an admin, I obviously have to choose the edit/add info one, since that's what I do the most of. It's a sad life when you spend more time administering this site instead of reading manga

To all of you wondering, I purposely did not put a "no, I want to remain single" option. It's just a poll for fun, so don't take it too seriously. I don't care enough to explain the reasoning behind my choice. Perhaps next year I'll do it differently.
Happy Valentine's Day to all you manga lovers! Just look at all that shoujo that's been released today...And to all you losers (including myself), have a happy SAD (Single's Awareness Day). >_>...
In honor of the occasion (and because it's a Saturday, at least for me), we have a new poll! You know what to do!

Wow, lots of people have some great (supposedly) ideas for a plot! And quite a few have already tried. I wish you great success if you're an amateur~ (and if you're a hidden professional...hahaha)
On a happier note than the last news post, NINOMIYA Tomoko (Nodame Cantabile) has revealed that she is recovering from her carpal tunnel syndrome and will return to work on March 10th. We wish her good luck and hopefully nothing like this happens again~

Apparently, today, Meep-Scans is closing its doors to the scanlation world. We wish the rest of you well on your endeavors.
In related news, ShoujoMagic, one of the oldest and most esteemed shoujo scanlation groups, will also possibly shut down soon. Visit their site for more details.
Edit: The reason behind the closing of Meep-Scans is the following:
They were sent a Cease and Desist letter from [sitelink=publishers.html?id=44]Daiwon[/sitelink], the legal publisher (in Korea) of most/all of their projects.
Reminder: Scanlators DO operate outside copyright laws. No matter how you justify it, scanlations are illegal (even if the series is not licensed in your country)
This poll was actually submitted earlier today by our member oneSeasonDream. Ever wanted to make your own manga series? For me, no way...I prefer reading than attempting to activate the creative portion of my mind.

Well, in my opinion, the choices were pretty similar...
This poll was submitted by our member StarlightDreams. So why would you drop a manga series? Just choose your top choice, please. (And I realize that there isn't a whole broad spectrum of choices either).

So many people use the list feature! That's a good thing! For those of you that don't know what I'm talking about. First, you need to be a registered member of this site (it's free and easy!). Then on the right menu, click "My Lists". You can create lists for the manga you're reading so that it's easier to keep track of things.
More features to come hopefully soon~
To the Asians who use celebrate the lunar calender:
Gung Hay Fat Choy!
(Cantonese, a dialect of Chinese, which is my own ethnicity)
Year of the ox~
This poll's done for our own purposes...
Previous Poll Results:
Question: What is the longest you have gone without reading any manga (after you started reading for the first time)?

Less than a day - votes: 703 (6.5%)
A few days - votes: 2318 (21.4%)

A year or more - votes: 689 (6.4%)
There were 10830 total votes.
The poll ended: January 24th 2009
Quite varied results. No comment at the people who need a life and read manga every single day
Whoa, I'm posting in the news. This is scary - what to say!
We just added support for editing custom list titles and descriptions, as well as setting
each list to be a specific type (reading, wish, complete, or unfinished).
So hopefully nothing breaks. If it does, we've got this topic going in the forum, so please
let us know!

Also, feel free to make suggestions too. I know I like hearing them, and since I'm new
here (less than a year) I haven't heard them all a million times like Manick and
lambsies. So maybe you can get me all excited about something that they're rolling their
eyes over hearing for the 800,000th time, and actually make it happen. ^_^
Kaioh writes: *Manga artist NINOMIYA Tomoko reported on her personal blog on Tuesday that she has carpal tunnel syndrome, and thus has continued to put her Nodame Cantabile series on hold. She said that her hand would get numb when she tried to write words a month after she gave birth to a boy on October 24. The symptoms gradually spread to both arms to the point that there was swelling and eventually pain, especially in the morning when she woke up. She went to a doctor who confirmed the diagnosis.
Ninomiya took time off from her manga drawing in October, the last month of her pregnancy, to have her baby. After her baby was born on October 24, she reported in a November 3 blog entry that she could not raise her right arm because an unknown pain in her shoulder and arm.
