Yoshi is a best seller web novel writer, best known for the "Deep Love" novel series that he selfpublished in his mobile website, Zavn, in 2000. "Deep Love" is considered one of the first web novels for mobile phones, that reached over 3 million visits monthly alone on his website. He is mostly known as the "creator of mobile web novels" or the "pioneer of the mobile web literature" in Japan.

Many of his novels have been adapted into manga form and have sold over 8.6 million copies in total (up to 2019).

He is a writer that has been involved in every single detail of his works, including publicity and marketing. He has even produced and directed some of his works adaptations into TV drama and movies.

Sometime in the mid 2010s, he took a rest period and moved to reside in Okinawa. Since 2019, he has resumed his writing activities.
